Welcome to my online space! 

Teaching is my second career . . . and I'm so glad that I found my way into the classroom! Since 2016 I have been teaching math and science to 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders.  I work with a wide range of students: gifted and accelerated, special needs, basic skills, and ESL.  Prior to getting my teaching certifications, I spent a year substituting in local districts across all grades - from K to 12.  It was at this time that I realized that Middle School is my sweet spot! 

I love creating resources to use in my classroom that cater towards the strengths of my students.   

▷ There are projects that highlight the talents of my doodlers and sketchers.

▷ My season long Fantasy Football unit is loved not only by my sports minded - and competitive - students, but also their parents.  

▷ During COVID I developed a series of self checking digital activities that satisfy the need for instant validation. 

▷ My tangram puzzles are great for students who need to work on fine motor skills.
